"Orange Zest + Cardamom" Spiced Rum, 44.6% ABV, 50cl

Introducing our First Spiced Rum

Yet another milestone for us: the very first spiced rum from our distillery.

We began with organic, ethically sourced panela sugar syrup, and then fermented this for over two months. The long fermentation helps the wash develop complex flavours which are enhanced during the distillation process. After the stripping run, we added a carefully selected blend of botanicals into the low wines before distilling. The resulting cuts were then carefully blended to achieve the perfect balance.

Finally, we macerated Spanish “Pasas de Málaga”, sweet Muscatel raisins that are sun-dried after harvest, into the rum for six months, imparting a gentle sweetness and floral complexity.

The result is a spiced rum with bright citrus notes, caramel undertones, and bold, warming spices, which all complement the robust character of our base rum. It is naturally coloured with caramel.

Enjoy in a cocktail or with a mixer of your choice. We found it pairs beautifully with apple or pomegranate juice.
